- I love Alaska. I love the Other Fisherman (my husband, Mark, since 1977!) I love my two sons, Rob and Dave. I love my black lab, Willie and am Gramma to 1 year old black lab Boomer, Dave's dog. I love to cook and eat and entertain in Alaska. Life is good here in the mountains and by the ocean in the woods. I write a cooking column for the local paper and am going to write my book next.Yup, gonna do it. Alaska is hot now and I best get on it if I am gonna by the Other Fisherman a new boat!
