Fish Goddess of Alaska

King salmon fishing catching gal, emerging definition of female figure, energy to climb mountains, ride uphill on new bike, take walk and talks with friends and husband (Other Fisherman) two black labs. Kachemak Bay and Kenai mountains fill my soul. Playing in fabulous kitchen less, enjoying OUTDOORPHINS much more, loving good red wine, fresh salmon, halibut and seasonal fruits, veggies. Having fun writing and doing a little personal chef work. Loving life.

Where have I been? I am here! This facebook thing sort of took over all of us, but I am not sure that is my style so much. I still love to read printed books, talk to the people important in my life on the phone and shop in a store!

Alaska Fish Goddess
I love Alaska. I love the Other Fisherman (my husband, Mark, since 1977!) I love my two sons, Rob and Dave. I love my black lab, Willie and am Gramma to 1 year old black lab Boomer, Dave's dog. I love to cook and eat and entertain in Alaska. Life is good here in the mountains and by the ocean in the woods. I write a cooking column for the local paper and am going to write my book next.Yup, gonna do it. Alaska is hot now and I best get on it if I am gonna by the Other Fisherman a new boat!

July Quote of the Month

"Alaska, where winter is never very far away."

Each day of summer is in Alaska is lived for like it is the last day on earth, as our summer is SO short. No wonder bears sleep all winter!
